Our Parts & Labor Warranty

What's covered

Our written warranty on repairs covers:

• Parts we install, such as springs, cables, rollers, drums, bearings, hinges and opener parts, if they fail from a defect
• Our labor on the repair we performed, including spring sizing, balance and cable installation

The exact terms for your job are the ones your technician gives you. If you have a question about coverage, ask before or after the repair and we'll explain it.

New doors and openers

New garage doors and openers we install come with the manufacturer's warranty. These warranties vary by brand and product, and some parts, like motors and door panels, are often covered for longer than a typical repair warranty. Ask your technician about the coverage on the model you choose, and keep your paperwork in case you need it.

What isn't covered

Like most repair warranties, ours doesn't cover problems we didn't cause or parts we didn't replace. For example:

• Damage from impact, such as a car hitting the door or tracks
• Repairs, adjustments or changes made by anyone other than our team
• Storm, flood or power-surge damage
• Normal wear on parts we didn't replace
• Remote, keypad and backup batteries, and light bulbs

A note on springs

Springs wear out with use. A warranty protects you if a spring fails early because of a defect or a sizing problem, but it doesn't change how many cycles a spring is built for. Standard springs are commonly rated for about 10,000 cycles. If you use your garage door a lot, ask about high-cycle springs. Our guide on spring lifespan explains why.

If something fails

1. Stop using the door if it isn't safe, and unplug the opener.
2. Call (929) 206-7699 or text us a photo. Have your repair date or invoice handy if you can.
3. We'll schedule a visit and inspect the problem. Covered repairs are handled under your warranty. If something isn't covered, we'll explain why and confirm the price before doing any work.
